1. The short version
We sell ebooks to grown-ups. We collect only what we need to send you the file you bought and to comply with US tax and accounting law. We do not build profiles of children. We do not sell or rent any information to advertisers.
2. Who we are
Valleroi North, LLC is a US limited liability company. Contact details are on the contact page. We are the "controller" of the information described below.
3. Information we collect from adult purchasers
When you buy an ebook or a classroom license, our payment processor collects:
- Your name (as it appears on the payment method)
- The email address you supply so we can send the ebook and receipt
- Billing address to the extent required for sales tax
- Payment card details — these are handled entirely by the payment processor; Valleroi North never sees or stores full card numbers
We also receive standard server logs (IP address, browser type, referring page, time of request) generated when your device requests a page from valleroinorth.com. These logs are retained for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
4. Information we do not collect
We do not create user accounts. We do not use behavioral advertising cookies. We do not sell any information to data brokers. We do not train third-party artificial-intelligence systems on our customer records.
5. Children
Our ebooks are read to children by adults. Our website is designed for adult purchasers, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from any child under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information (for example, a child signed up for a mailing list using their own email address), please contact us at hello@valleroinorth.com and we will promptly delete it.
For classroom licenses, we do not collect any information about the children who are read to. We only receive the program's billing and contact information.
6. Cookies
Our site uses only essential first-party cookies necessary to display the site correctly. We do not run tracking, behavioral advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
7. How we use your information
- To deliver the ebooks and receipts you buy
- To reply when you email us
- To comply with tax and accounting obligations in the United States
- To protect against fraud and abuse of the site
8. Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary information with a small number of vendors that make the business run: our payment processor, our email delivery service, our hosting provider, and our accountant. Each is contractually bound to use the information only to perform the service they provide to us.
We do not sell or rent your information. We may disclose information if required to do so by valid legal process.
9. How long we keep it
We keep purchase records for the period required by US tax and accounting law (currently seven years). Website server logs are retained for a short operational window and then rotated.
10. Your choices
You may email us at hello@valleroinorth.com to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correction of anything inaccurate, or deletion (subject to any legal obligation we have to retain a record of the transaction). US residents may have specific rights under state privacy laws; we honor those requests the same way.
11. International use
Valleroi North is based in the United States. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
