Valleroi North, LLC ("Valleroi North," "we," "our," "us") is a limited liability company organized in the United States. Our contact information is on the contact page.
2. Products we sell
We sell digital storybook ebooks in PDF and EPUB formats, and printable classroom companion materials. All products are delivered electronically. We do not sell physical goods.
3. Your license to our ebooks
Personal license (single-family purchase). When a private individual purchases a Valleroi North ebook, we grant a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read, print and store the ebook for the personal use of one household. You may print copies for members of your household. You may not resell, redistribute, upload to a public server, or make the file available to persons outside your household.
Site license (classroom purchase). When a daycare, pre-K program, family childcare provider or homeschool co-op purchases a classroom license, we grant a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-expiring license to reproduce and use the ebook inside one physical site as defined at time of purchase. If your program grows beyond that site, please contact us at hello@valleroinorth.com for an upgrade.
No license, express or implied, is granted to modify, translate, create derivative works, resell, sublicense, or use our ebooks for commercial training of machine-learning systems.
4. Payment
Prices on the site are shown in United States dollars unless otherwise noted. We may change prices for future purchases at any time; already-completed purchases are not affected. Applicable sales tax may be added at checkout depending on your jurisdiction.
5. Refunds
See our refund policy. In short: we offer a full refund within fourteen days of purchase if the ebook did not work for you.
6. Intellectual property
All ebooks, illustrations, text, logos, layouts and design elements on this site are the property of Valleroi North, LLC or its contributing illustrators and editors, and are protected by United States and international copyright law. Nothing on the site is placed in the public domain by publication here.
7. Children
Our products are read to children by adults. Our website and services are directed at adult purchasers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from any child under the age of 13. See our privacy notice for details.
8. Warranties and disclaimers
The site and the ebooks are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Valleroi North disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Valleroi North's total liability arising out of or relating to your purchase or use of any Valleroi North product shall not exceed the amount you paid to Valleroi North for the product in question. In no event shall Valleroi North be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these terms shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted on the site for a reasonable period.
